About a month and a half ago, I got my first iPhone. However, I dropped it in the toilet, but was able to finally get a new one which arrived last Tuesday. Today, the new phone's screen is black, even though the phone is on and I can't do anything with it. I can turn Siri on and off and receive calls and texts but I have no way of answering them. Clearly something is wrong, but I don't understand what. Nothing has happened to the phone to cause this. What is the return or trade in policy for Verizon? Can I send it back? How much will I have to pay for a new phone?

If you replaced your phone through Asurion then you would want to contact them to have the phone replaced.
If you used a 3rd party insurance you would then want to reach out to them.
