I really look like a retard when my iPhone goes on a tangent and starts resending texts I have sent up to 2 days ago. Anyone else have this problem? I have powered down and restarted, but it still does this. Randomly. And people just text me back like, "what?" Any ideas?
Make sure you are up to date on your iOS and update your roaming *228 option 2
I would suggest reprogramming the phone to the Verizon Wireless network before updating the roaming list. Dial *228, option 1.

I'm having the same problem - my phone keeps going in and out of the network. When it finally stopped, I was able to call customer service who told me to do the *228 and option 2. I did that, it said it reprogrammed, and now it's switching back and forth again from in and out of the network every 3 or 4 seconds. It won't even stay "in network" long enough for me to call again or even type *228 to try option 1!
