This is an interesting story from CNN and it reminded me of this thread.

I think the words "Brainwashed" and "Drinking the Kool-Aid" fit very appropriately.

Android cons
I had a lot of "screen locking" issues especially on my droid X I had to reboot twice a day
I forgot to mention I had an htc Evo as well and that thing kept dying every 3-4 hours and that's when I barely use it.
I do miss adobe flash but I do have netflix and hulu on my iPhone. U have no problems with my phone what so ever. After a few months using the iPhone u try helping my brother trouble shoot his my touch 4g and notice how much it lags and all the issues he was dealing with gave me too many bad memories I'm so glabi switched!
My htc mytouch 4g wasn't receiving data correctly it kept losing signal I gave up on it I was so angry an frustrated

Until Apple starts making 4 -4..3 inch screen iphones, dual core processors, and have 4g, I'd never even consider getting an iphone. also, google maps gps navigation comes free with android. So add free gps to the things apple needs to add to iphones before I'd even consider making the switch.

And there will always be something around the corner even when that all happens there'll be other things we'd want in a phone...we can keep on waiting forever on any phone like that.

Best to find out what you want out of your phone. Don't listen to the hoopla and other peoples opinions. They are not you and do not reflect on how you would use your phone. I have used both since the inception of these devices (G1 for Android, iPhone "2G")... They all have their pros and cons and they can do pretty much everything the other can, but in different ways. Sometimes you may have to void your warranty to do more.
As the above poster said... New devices come and go and you could wait forever. Just go into a Verizon store and hang out over there. Test all the devices they have. When I am ready to buy a device I spend around 1-2 weeks checking out what is out there, and spend a day or two here and there testing out devices.
