My iPhone 4S 3G has horrible download speeds, even more so when I try to use it as a hotspot for my desktop computer. It makes doing much of anything online practically impossible. Speedtest.net has me consistantly at 400 - 500 kBps. Is there anything at all that can be done to increase this? I only got the hotspot feature on the phone so that I could use the internet in my area. My only options for 'high speed' is satellite internet. Thanks for any assistance or information!

You can ensure your phone is up to date by dialing *228-call and choosing option 1. You will also want to plug your phone into iTunes to ensure that you're running the most current software version.
