Suddently my iPhone 4 is sending duplicate text messages. I send a text and the receiver is getting the same message 3 or 4 times. Why did this just start happening and how do I fix it?
Try dialing *228, option 1 to reset the phone's connection to the network.

I personally send a lot of messages so I definitely wouldn't want my friends and family to get duplicates! I'm sorry this is happening to you in the first place. Ann154 definitely provided a good suggestion and it's a great place to start.
If you're still having the issue I would be curious to know the color of your messages. Are they green or blue? Green would indicate sms/text and blue would indicate iMessage.
Is this only happening with certain numbers?
Please advise so we can get this fixed up for you.
