So. I currently have to iPhone 4 and have exhausted my need for excessive social interaction blah blah blah. Fact is. I just received the Samsung Gusto and would like to move on over to taking advantage of Verizon's prepaid services. So my questions are:
1: Would I have to pay and early termination fee for changing my plan?
and
2: Would I lose my upcoming upgrade?
To the best of my knowledge:
1. Yes, if the change is from a contract plan to a pre-paid plan.
2. Yes, if you cancel your contract account...although technically, if you change your mind after paying the ETF and decide later that you would like to go back to a monthly plan versus pre-paid then you would be starting a new contract and would be able to purchase a new phone at advertised pricing.
To get a definitive answer more quickly, you would probably do better by contacting VZW directly and asking these questions.
If u cancel ur account as postpaid yes. U can suspend ur account without billing. If u have a contract it will add to the end of the contract but u could upgrade later and then ur contract would be different because u add 2yrs from the date u upgrade not the end of contract. Without contract u can suspend without billing. Do u have billing 2 account? If so u would loose that is untill the next time after 6months. If u new every 2 u would lose that. If u have unlimited data and want to ever have it again I would suspend the line. U might change ur mind.
