My phone does not have water damage and I have tried everything I have read to try and resolve this issue. I have cleaned out all ports/jacks on my phone, I have restored it to factory settings, and tried playing around with all the different sound settings. Bluetooth is not enable, and I can confirm that the volume is up and not muted. Is there anything else I can try? The speaker stopped working right after I updated to ios 7,0.4.

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your devices speaker. We definitely want you to always have a working device. I am glad that you have taken all measures to resolve this already. You have done all necessary steps. Do you have insurance on the device or is it still under warranty? You may also want to take it to your local apple or Verizon store to get evaluated. Please keep us updated on this because we want to make sure there is a resolution.
