I've been using around 9 or 10GB of date for the last several months. All of sudden about two days ago, my data hit a wall. I typically get amazing speed on my Droid Bionic 4G, but now I am getting horrific speed while I'm at the end of this billing period. This is crazy! Has anyone else every been throttled? While I think it's pretty cool that I must be in the top 5% of data users nationwide, it still is annoying!

If you have unlimited plan yes you could be but why is this an issue in the iPhone section? Just wondering.

If you have an iphone, yes you will get throttled as it only applies to 3g. If you have a bionic, its probably more and more people on 4g. 4g phones do not get throttled that i am aware of.

I thought if You have any smartphone with unlimited when you go past the 2gig average that if your in an area as well as a heavy trafficked page you can be slowed down. The more you do the more chance that you would be.

It might also help to post this in the 4g forum instead of the iPhone 4 one just saying
