My iphone 4 is backed up on my computer using the iTunes software program. I am going to trade in my iphone 4 for an iphone 5s. When I get the 5s I want to transfer all my apps, contacts, calendars and settings from the 4 to the 5s. The iTunes Summary tab has two types of backups on it, Restore iPhone and Restore Backup. Which one is the correct one to use?

You will want to use Restore Backup.

Restore iPhone is the command that restores a device to factory settings.

So your data would not be copied to the device in that instance.
