Travel to Aruba

We are in Aruba and I have done as you indicated above. My daughters 4S is still receiving text messages though the settings say that cellular, data, and voice are off. She does have wifi access. What are we doing wrong?

She may be receiving iMessages ... turn those off (or turn off the wi-fi).

You normally aren't charged by Verizon when using wi-fi. I don't know about being overseas, though. Maybe someone more knowledgeable about global usage will chime in if they know differently. Or you could contact Global Support and ask them:
