I want to unlock the iphone 4s so that I can use SIM for other carriers in USA.

Is that possible.I have completed the 2 year contract with Verizon

Verizon does not unlock their phones for use with other US Carriers.

Isn't that illegal . I PAID AND OWN THE PHONE. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE MY DEVICE ON ANY NETWORK.
