Unlocked SIM question

When you unlock the SIM and activate the phone abroad with a foreign SIM, what happens when someone then calls your US VZW phone number? Do they get a "disconnected message" or does it go into your VM? Can you have the number forwarded?

I would say voicemail it would be like your phone was off or had no signal

Don't forward the calls unless you have a lot of money to pay for international calls remember it goes through the other number when forwarded
