What is up with Verizon voice mail? First, I could not set it up. Two hours with tech support and they said they have to make a network ticket. The next day I thought I had voice mail, at least they show up in the list, but then they won't play. Just a spinning wheel. So still no voice mail. I am a new Verizon customer and not liking it!

If you find out let us know.. I have not been able to listen to messages for about 1 week now. I have even lost a couple of messages due to I was getting the spinning wheel and it wouldn't play. I then rebooted my phone and the message that was spinning was gone...

I am getting the same spinning wheel. It is rare that I get to listen to a voice mail but when I do it is only a few seconds of the whole message. The only way I can listen to my voice mail is by calling my number putting in my code and pressing pound.

I am having similar issues with voicemail. The wheel spins for about 2 minutes then comes up with a message that says "Unable to retrieve voicemail." Very frustrating. I missed a voicemail from my job because of this.

Same here too. Unacceptable. I was told this is an Apple problem, but it seemed to work just fine on my old AT&T iPhone.

We've had the problem all week. In the middle of migrating 450 BlackBerry units to iPhone migration at work. Not a good introduction to iPhone for dozens of users.
Valid workaround at least...call your own number, pound, enter passcode.

There was a iPhone visual voicemail problem for the last few days between apple and Verizon. That's what they told me last night so the only way to know if u have voicemail is to check it manually.
