First let me say,I opted out for the extended warrenty, and I've had my IPHONE4 for 18 months, well past the mfg 1yr warrenty. I watch alot of videos(news/youtube/ect..), and the other day clicked on a video, and notice no sound. Since then I've tried all that I can think of to try and correct this problem.I've been to settings/sounds/ringer alerts/change with buttons. When I try to set volume with (+and-) buttons it shows the ringer microphone picture, not the volume control picture it used to show. I can plug my ear plugs in and get hear the vid, also i get the vid volume slider ,were as the slider is absent when i unplug my ear phones. At this point(with 1 month >10/2 <For a discounted upgrade), I'm accepting any possable soulution. Thank You for your response.

What about the little up and down switch above the volume maybe that's to red meaning mute ringers sounds except if you use headphones.

PainterDude12, it sounds like you've checked all the settings available for this issue! Great troubleshooting steps! Do you have volume on speakerphone for calls? If you have a case, try removing it make sure nothing blocking the speaker. If you have a can of compressed air, spray it around the speaker on the bottom right to make sure no debris caught in the speaker. If still having issues, it sounds like the device will need to be replaced. Don't worry, 10/2 is coming in no time!
