I got my iPhone several months ago and wasn't sure about it.   BUT: after having it for seven months now, I really like it.   I can check my bank account, pay a bill, make a hotel reservation, listen to the music I down loaded....I have not had any problems with it what soever but I would like to see the battery life go a wee bit longer otherwise it's ok.
