Hello!
I'm doing some research on the IPhone before my upgrade in May. I have a Blackberry and I'm ready for a definite switch. I've been comparing the IPhone 4, and the IPhone 4S. So far, I'm leaning towards the 4S, however if it's not worth it, and the regular 4 would be just as good then I'd like to know that as well. If anyone has any advice, or opinons, I would greatly appreciate the help.
Thank you-
Rebecca

The 4s is very good. I like how u can get 16 gigs for alittle more then the 4. Plus the 4s has duelcore processor. With 8gig u get 6 gig and 16gig u get 14 gig I think. Siri is great and u can't count on other devices getting Siri. If u plan on traveling later on the 4s is the only one.

Thank you, Gina- In terms of traveling, and from my own research, I've noticed that the 4S is global-ready which could come in handy eventually. I'm curious about Siri- has it been a big help when you've needed to find something fast?

4S personally. Apple tends to support their devices for 3 years. The 4 is going on 2 years already(Although it's been on Verizon for 1 year). So you have about 1 more year of support and the 4S you would get 3 years of support. Also it might be a good idea to wait a bit later as 4S only comes in 16GB, and if the 5 comes out sometime this year you can get the 4S 16GB at the price you see the 4 is right now.

That's true, and to be honest, I haven't thought of that. The 4S sounds
like the way to go, but it's still pretty expensive even for the 16GB. The
Apple support would be a big thing too- I wouldn't want just 1 year of
support with the 4, it would be best to have the full 3 years. Thank you
for that advice!

Well if you wait for the 5 you can get the 4S 16G for the price of the 4 8G is right now, and still get at least 2 years of updates.

I worry It seems Verizon doesent keep iPhones as much as atat. I know it's to early to know. It was a great point they do update more then android. With AppleCare u get 2yrs warranty with ur phone with damage waver. Im not an apple expert. if ur not near apple and want Verizon to help u replace something u need the extra warranty to give u overnight shipping or it's going to be 5days. My husband has had his 4 forever and almost 2 yrs loves it never had an apple phone before. I am glad apple treat there older phones just as nice as there new ones.
If u need a phone on the near future get a 4s who knows when the 5 is out. Does anyone know if Siri will be out on other phones. You can't buy the other 4s other then 16? I love dictation and everything on 4s that's what my husband wants next on the iPhone 5. I did an email without typing so cool. I know it's not a phanominon for android but so cool. It's cool apple has finally done it. I like how there Isent as many real problems on iPhones.
Couldn't they retire an iPhone if they come out with a new one like the older iPhone 4

Siri will be on the 4S and newer phones only. Usually Apple comes out with a new phone every year with the exception of the iPhone 4S(I believe nearly 18 months).

The only major difference is the camera. Sure the 4s has a faster processor, but that just makes it a half second or so faster opening and closing apps. So if the camera isn't important to you, the 4 is just as good as the 4s.
