All companies cable, telephone, cellular and such bill a month in advance. When you decide to leave the advance payment will most likely cover all of your last month

You will continue to be billed one month in advance for the base plan and add ons until you decide to leave. Overages will be billed AFTER they occur. Same with any ringtones or apps you may buy from VZW directly.
