I have an iPhone 4 thru Verizon and the time didn't change this morning for daylight saving time. If I change the "Set Automatically" to Off, it shows the correct time; otherwise, it's behind by one hour. What's causing this?

Have you set it to set automatically? If not, go to settings, general, date time and turn it on. I don't know if it will help but wont hurt to try.

I was just on the phone with a friend (yes, I associate with you guys) and he mentioned the same problem. He said that he powered his phone off and back on and the time corrected itself. Hope it works for you.

FYI: My iPhone changed at the correct time from 2 to 3 automatically, did not have to do anything. Live on Long Island, NY. Maybe its location specific

Hi Peace95,
I noticed last night (just before I went to bed), that my IPhone had "rolled back" an hour. I have been following the iPhone since it came out (despite it not being on Verizon, which we all know is the best ) and was watching for an issue with DST rollover. Apple has had this problem with previous time changes. However, when I got up this morning, the clock had corrected itself. I imagine that if you leave the iPhone on its default settigns, it will eventually re-sync its clock with Verizon, and it should be fine. I do not know how long it will take Apple to figure out time changes, but they still have problems with it.

DST updated just fine this AM on iPhone 4 here in SF Bay Area. Maybe the time on the particular tower you are connected to is off. Have you tried rebooting the phone? This may cause you to connect to a different tower.

It worked fine for me also. I happened to be in the car on I-185 when it did it.

Thanks, everybody, for your replies. I've restarted my iPhone multiple times, but when I get home, the time gets screwy again. On the road earlier, it was showing the correct time. Must be something with the tower here, but just annoying. I've turned off the Set Automatically and it seems to be happy for now. Still, how can they not get the time right? Weird.
