If you have a Warranty with Verizon call Asurion. Otherwise, call Apple at 1-800-MY-APPLE.

As you should probably know, when he calls Verizon, all they are going to do is tell him to Call either Asurion or Apple depending on what his Warranty and Extended Warranty Status is. 🙂
