conditional call forwarding is not working with my new 4s. I would like to know if this is a known problem. Is this something that I will have to call about (thus being placed on eternal hold)?

I'm not aware of a conditional call forwarding feature offered by VZW but I would assume that if you're having issues with the feature (and it's supposed to work) then you would need to contact VZW for assistance. If you don't want to wait on the phone you can always go to a local VZW store....but my experience has been that call waiting time has been short compared to the wait time in my local stores.
