getting text messages from your computer

I left my phone at home today and I feel like its the end of the world. Is there a way I can set it up where I can get my text messages sent to my computer where I am at now until I get home? Kinda like call forwarding but text forwarding?

I was recently without my phone and felt so lost. Let's see what we can do for you. I do apologize for the delay in responding. You can go to www.vtext.com and log in and send and receive messages via our site.  We have also added a new feature that is awesome! It's called Verizon Messages, if you have an Android phone or even an iPad you can download the app and get your messages on multiple devices.
