You have to buy the iPhone 4s for the new chip. So if you did that it would cost you full retail unless you have an upgrade available.
I just got the new update yesterday. I have one issue that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I just recieved a text message and it came up on my screen without me touching my phone. Is there anyway to turn that off? I was able to turn it off before but now I can't figure it out. Please help. Thanks.
Go to settings, notifications, select messages, and then change alert style. You can choose from none, banners, or alerts. You also have the option to turn off "Show preview" if that's all you want to do. Also, you can turn off "view in lock screen" if that's what you wanted it to stop doing. A few more options than we previously had.
