iPhone 4 Text Message Backup

Is there any way to back up text messages on an iPhone 4? I'm looking for either an app or a way to back them up on the computer. I want to delete them off my phone but not lose them completely. Thanks

I also found myself looking for something like this. This is one feature I do miss about my android device.

 

I did do a google search and found a few things. I have not personally tried any of them so I do not want to make the recommendation. Itunes does do it as part of the back up but obviously the only way to get them back without editing the back up file would be a full restore. Take a look around google :smileyhappy:
