From what I've read, I'm not the only one with this issue. I have never used more that 1GB of cellular data, until iOS6.
In the first 3 days of my billing cycle, I have used 75% of my 2GB monthly allowance. This has happened the last two billing cycles.
I am sure I am not the only one experiencing this. Has anyone been able to figure out why this is happening and how to fix it?

They said they give messeges but it happens that there delivered to my dads line not the phone that is haveing the data problem. I usefully use 3-4 gigs and last month I used 11.

I just purchased the 1GB plan along with an iPhone 5 from Verizon and experiencing the same exact problem. I was on sprint, with unlimited data, but never went over 500mb of usage in a whole month. I have been on Verizon for 3 days and its saying that I have already used 360mb of data. How? All I did was activate the phone and install Facebook and Twitter.

I've called and emailed Verizon numerous times and stopped by the stores/kiosks to no avail. They're always surprised by how much data I'm using now compared to on the iPhone 4 (20 times the amount at the beginning, before I just started turning random things off and finally deleting Facebook and Twitter altogether, and I am still using over twice the data I was before, without running these apps!).
Well, I just found this: https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/785066
Apparently it's iCloud, and it's not just affecting Verizon users (which is probably why Verizon representatives don't know anything about it). I'm going to be demanding a credit to my account for the data "overages" that I did not cause.

I have had the same experience including visiting an apple store. NO ONE can figure this out. what are you doing since Verizon says they cannot do anything until the bill comes in.

My bill for October already came in. They want $40 because I used 5GB, which is 3GB over my limit. The bill is due tomorrow and I'm refusing to pay it until they credit my account.
In the meantime, you should tweet @VZWSupport. Everyone on this thread should. They responded to me immediately because I think they don't want the negative publicity.

Also, definitely, DEFINITELY try deleting your iCloud account. I did that today and I am down to only ~500 KB of data usage (I normally average over 200 MB per day!) in the past 6-7 hours. And also definitely download Datawiz. I wish I'd done that sooner.
