Thank you for that info mine shut off like that last night and wouldn't come back on.I thought I was going to have to go into store today until I decided to search on here.I did this and it worked.Thanks again..

I've been dealing with this random issue of shutting off when charged for MONTHS! I even went to the apple store and they couldn't help me. "Genuis Bar" my ass. But this WORKED!!! THANK YOU I was ready to go buy a new phone.
Thank you for expounding.. I was actually wondering the same thing.. how I was going to turn it back on, but I did as you said and magically, it came back on.. I have been trying to for hours, to now avail.. now why it suddenly turns on? I don't know and I don't care, I'm just glad it did.. so I did as you suggested and cleared my history.. so we will see if this happens again. It's a very strange phenomenon indeed.. thank you very much again.. I have my phone back.. whoohoo!
