Two things how do I know if my phone is still under warranty.
My phone just keeps shutting down, I already restored it and it still keeps doing it.
1. When did you purchase it and from whom? The device has a one year warranty from the original purchase date. You can check the status here. https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
2. "Shutting down" in what way? Rebooting? Turning off? What iOS version is on the phone? How much free space is on the device? Note that occasional reboots are normal.
I'll be in the middle of FB or Pinterest and it closes out to the main screen. very frustrating! should i take the phone to verizon or the apple store? It was an upgrade through verizon.

Let's get your phone back in business! I know this is frustrating to have your apps closing out in the middle of doing something. In most cases, the problem is app related.
