Please be forewarned, returning the iphone 4S and then pre-ordering the iphone 5 might be considered your ONE exchange allowed in the return policy.

I have seen it happen to a co-worker. It's how I ended up with a slightly used Nexus.

"Getting rid of that other line" will result in a $350 ETF as a result of cancelling service on that line. Probably not worth it.

Tomorrow is the end of my 14 day period since I stupidly bought my 4s. I'm not so interested in exchanging for an iPhone5, as I am in paying the lower price for my 4s. I had read that as part of the rollout of the 5, that Verizon was going to sell the iPhone 4s 16g for $99 rather than the $199 I paid. I called Verizon today and they said I also had 14 days to match a lower price, but that the 4s was still listed at $199. Does anyone know if what I read about the price change was accurate, and when it takes effect?

I have called twice about the updated pricing on 4s; one rep did not know, one said possibly 9/14/12. Apple obviously lowered their prices immediately and ATT lowered them early AM on 9/13. No one is going to buy a 4 or 4s at current price. Is this typical pricing games for Verizon after an iPhone launch?
