I feel you! I know how important it is to pair your phone with your car wmahoney.
First I recommend deleting any Bluetooth connection http://is.gd/DeleteBT from your phone to ensure no bad connection exist. Then pair and test.
Have you ever been able to pair your device with your car? They may not be compatible, check with your car manufacturer for compatibility.
