Try the usual suggestions: reset/restart/restore device. You might also need to check with the pandora app developer to see if this is a known issue. You can also try deleting the app and reinstalling to see if that helps. Did you recently update your iOS or anything that would change the way the app works? If you recently updated the app or the iOS then that just might be the way that the app is working at this point. Go to the app store and post your issue in the reviews section...the developers tend to keep an eye on that and address any thing they deem a bug with their next update.
