My password has been changed for security purposes...however the email address that is linked to my account has been deleted (college account). They only way i can access my new changed password is for it being sent through email. How can i change the email address if i cant get into my account to change it? Make sense?

So the password has changed (by you? someone else?) and the new password emailed to a non-valid email address? You may have to call 800-922-0204 or *611 from your cell, and verify who you are (via SSN or other identifying information) to change the email address on the account.
i did an update prompted to me by my phone. a few days after that i needed to update an app. when i went to type in my password it said it has been changed for security purposes. since i cant send a new password to my email address, i am kind of lost of what to do.
I know how important it is to be able to unlock your device with the correct password. I want to ensure you’re able to do this.
