why do none of my texts from iphone to iphone show up on recent usage?

What kind of recent usage are you talking about?

Are you talking about the text log in My Verizon? If both of the iPhones are using iMessage, the messages will go through your data connection and will most likely not show up as texts which are sent/received in My Verizon. Messages sent through iMessage to another device also using iMessage will not show up in your text log.

I assume it is regular texting since i am not sure what imessage is!

but when i am texting other iphones it shows up blue instead of green like everyone else.

The ones that are blue are from iPhone to iPhone and will not show up in the text usage, the green ones are to users not registered with iMessage and will show up in the text usage.

IMessages are free and there any apple product with ios5. Sometimes there by accident sent as text SMS.

so is there anyway to see the origin or destination of an imessage and what number its came from..if it is sent via data..is there a way if i open data usage to see any of the numbers the imessages are being sent to or from...bottom line..is there any way at all to get detailed info regarding the phone numbers involved in a particular imessage to imessage...thanks
