I am traveling in Germany right now, and activated global data last week by calling Verizon. It worked perfectly for a few days, then suddenly stopped. I have turned on and off my phone, reset my wireless networks, tried turning on and off my phone with the network turned on and off, and nothing seems to be working. My coworkers are connected to the same foreign 3G network (vodaphone) so I know that is not the problem. Any other suggestions for ways to get this working again?
Hi cjheins - We do not want to put a damper on a wonderful trip! I apologize for the delay as I understand this is a time sensitive matter! On the device please go to Settings>Cellular>Roaming>Ensure voice and data roaming is on. Please also reseat the SIM by removing it from the device with a paper clip or similar tool and reinserting it. Please keep me updated as it would be my pleasure to continue troubleshooting.
