6 and 12 hour apart data usage - apple 5s phone running up data usage


Is any one else seeing repeated 12 hour apart reported data usages on their usage statements, and knows how to stop it, short of making the "smart" phone a "dumb" phone.

Since buying the 5s phone, once to twice a day, these auto data usage reports show up on usage spread sheets, on my Verizon account.   I have been on the phone with Verizon and Apple to no avail for months trying to solve excess data charges on this one phone. All the 4's and 5c are fine. The reps claim this is normal usage and chargeable.  Dear reps, I do not have a "stuck mail" in the mail folder.  Face book is not the reason.  Something is Auto running and bypasses WiFi. I understand your reluctance to solve this problem, your making a gob load of money off this behavior.  Does Apple get a cut back on the overages you charge? hmmmmmm.
