I had back-up assistance on my old phone, just activated my iPhone 5 and CANNOT figure out how to retrieve all of my stuff. PLEASE HELP:(

iPhone uses a different app to backup contacts... I think it's VZ Contact Transfer.  see if you can find that in your iPhone App Store and you should be able to download/install and then sync your contacts

VZW Contact Transfer is the correct App. As long as you have used backup assistance on your previous phone you can download this app and it will allow you to pull those contact over to your i5. I had to do the same thing. Worked perfect!
