Can I use an international SIM card?
BERDON2
Newbie

I bought the $85 monthly International Plan for London but what I really need is a lot more data usage. The plan provides plenty of minutes and texts but running out of data fast- can I get a sim card in London to use in my 5S that will increase my data (someone told me to go to O2 since they are the largest phone provider and get a sim card there).

thank you

I know how important it is to stay connected when you’re so far away from home, BERDON2. I hope you’re having a fantastic trip aside from that data adding up quicker than expected. There is the option of TravelPass for your time in England https://www.verizonwireless.com/plans/travelpass-countries/ that would allow you to use the data from your plan here in the states while you’re traveling abroad. If you do chose to pick up a SIM from the local carrier on your trip, we don’t lock LTE devices so there’s no extra steps you’d need from Verizon to use that local SIM. If you need immediate assistance while you're traveling, our Global experts are available 24 hours a day https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/worldwide-access-numbers/ .
