I am going on a Carnival cruise and I don't want to be hit with roaming charges. All I want is to take pictures. How do I ensure I am not hit with any roaming charges and my data is off?

I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip. We don't want you to have to worry about roaming charges either. To turn off you data go to Settings>Cellular> Cellular Data (off). If you would like to know rates for calls and texting while traveling you can visit http://vz.to/1jOzh5I just in case.

Turn off data roaming and cellular data on the device.

Then take pictures.

Remember if using Apple Sharing or back up, turn that off as well.
