It can surely be frustrating to have trouble using your services, so let's get things working properly for you. The main thing with basic phones is that they have to be programmed by dialing *228 and choosing option 1 to program the phone. If that's already been done, please share with us what happens when you try making a call or when someone tries calling the phone. Also, please ensure the original phone that was deactivated has been powered off completely.
