The iphone 4S doesn't have the 4G LTE radio to connect to the 4G LTE network from Verizon Wireless.

The iPhone 5 is rumored to have the LTE radio, but until it is officially announced it is still a rumor.

Saw where the battery for the iPhone5 is only marginally larger. Makes wonder if LTE will be part of the device

I read verizon isn't getting the iphone 5

and no the 4 and 4s does not support lte
