How do I delete an app off my apple 5c phone?

First this information is in the owners manual on the device in safari under bookmarks.

However it is easy, place your finger on the app and it will wiggle, then click on the X in the corner of the app.

Presto it is gone.

Then make sure to push the large home button once to return the screen back to normal.
