How do I use an alternate upgrade?

When I go to the verizon store I want to use my dads upgrade. Do I need to know anything to use his upgrade. He is the primary account holder?

You need to be an account manager on the account to be authorized to complete the upgrade in his name even if the upgrade occurs on your line.
