I am trying to get my contacts from my verizon cloud onto my new iphone 5s have tried several things any suggestions?

Please help I am so frustrated trying to get my contacts from my verizon cloud account onto my new Iphone 5s it will not sync!

Oh no! I know that getting your contacts to your new phone is extremely important, ttanton. Did you download the Backup Assistant application http://vz.to/1lABEpg to the iPhone? What happens when you try to sync your contacts? What phone are you switching from?

Thank you that worked I guess I didn't realize that the verizon cloud app I had was different than the backup assitant app!
