I have an iPhone 5c. This morning i added a new email to my phone and after that all my contacts were deleted. I have tried many things like turning on the iCloud contacts and attempting to use backup assistant. I called Verizon but that didn't help. How

I have an iPhone 5c. This morning i added a new email to my phone and after that all my contacts were deleted. I have tried many things like turning on the iCloud contacts and attempting to use backup assistant. I called Verizon but that didn't help. How do I retrieve these contacts? isnt there a way to reset the phone to a certain date like yesterday and have the contacts still in there? Or can't back up assistant use one of my previous back ups to retrieve those contacts?
