Since buying the I-Phone 5 on June 18th, 2013, the phone has reset constantly. I might be in the middle of using an ap or just talking on the phone, but it spontaneously restarts. After speaking with a Verizon rep, I was told to upgrade the operating system. I did this and synced it to my computer a week or two ago. This morning, while I was listening to a voice message, the phone spontaneously restarted again, this time showing the i-tunes cord and logo. After hooking it to my computer, I-Tunes opened up and stated that my only option was to totally restore the phone. I will lose all of my photos that are not yet synced, which I'd rather not do. Are there any ways to recover the data?

Try holding down the home and power buttons together for an alternate soft reset in order to get out of that screen.
