Lost SIM card

Good evening, VW community!

..or I guess it's morning for most of you.

I'm abroad in Australia, and have misplaced my Verizon SIM card for my iPhone5

Two questions

1. do I need the SIM card to have access to Verizon service upon arrival in the States?

2. should I be taking action to 'cancel' the SIM card so no one else has access to my account (ie using my SIM and raking up international minutes)?

I hope you're enjoying your trip in Australia!

Sorry to hear you lost your sim card. No need to worry! You can order a new one to use when you're back in the USA or you can pick one up at a VZW store http://bit.ly/3SdsA. You will need a sim card in order to use your phone in the USA. No need to report it lost since it cannot be used on another account.

Not applicable

Call the Verizon toll free global support number and have them ship to your home.

Better yet simply walk into Verizon wireless corporate store and pick it up when driving back from the airport when you return home.
