I got an email that said my credit card was declined and that I could call them to clear it up. Then I check my order status and it says shipping on 10/05. That's BS because I just checked my credit card and I still got plenty left on my credit limit, everything is paid off, and I didn't receive any fraud notices. I'm trying to call customer service but I've been on hold for the past 30 minutes. Anyone else getting this? If I can't get my iphone on launch date then I might as well cancel the order and try my luck at the physical stores.
Ok I guess I had a hold on my account for possible fraudulent activity. Now I gotta call Verizon back, wait another 30 mins and have them try the transaction again.
I got it as well, I'm currently on the phone with them. I have plenty left on my card too, but it seems like since I was having it shipped to a different address than my billing address it had some sort of hold up of fraudulent activity as you stated above. That's what my shipping says too now, it's frustrating since I ordered my iPhone within 10 minutes of the start of the pre-order. let me know what happens with yours, and I will when I get mine figured out.
I just got off the phone and my order will still be here on or before the 21st as they would like to say, so best of luck with yours. The Rep told me they put the 10/5 in there to scare people and if you get it figured out it should be there the day it states in the confirmation e-mail.
