I purchased my iPhone 5 from the local Verizon store on Sunday, Sept. 23rd. I did receive a basic purchase receipt, but that is all. I was not provided any tracing number or way of knowing is my phone was actually being processed. The only information provided is that the phone should ship by October 19th. If I had ordered my phone through the Apple website, I would be much better informed on the status of my order. Has anyone else had this problem?
call 611 and press 4 and it should give you a tracking number or if not ask the representative for a tracking number. I used my order number they sent to my email and my last name for this https://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/orderstatus/OrderStatusForm?lid=//global//support//get+status//o.... Then when they actually started the shipping process my tracking number appeared. Just gotta keep checking it sucks but its pretty much the only way.
