I submitted a port request online and this morning my Verizon online account opened with my newly ported Ph#.
However, my iPhone 5s still shows my old Ph# after many restarts. I tried dialing #8899, but the voice said that there was a problem and that I should restart my phone and then dial #8899. When I do that my old phone is still there and when I dial #8899 it says the same thing.
Since I ported my landline phone # my landline no longer works and my new iPhone 5s is non-functional so I have no phone with which to call tech support.
Hi BHG1 - We certainly want you to be able to easily manage your account and stay connected! It would be best to contact the Port Center at 888-844-7095 from another device. They will have the full ability to check the status of your port.
