Ship Date 10/05? What?

I ordered right when it was out, which was at around 12. I got my order confirmation email at 12:05AM. My credit card got charged today, so i thought it had shipped? But i check, and it says Expected Ship Date: 10/05/2012 and that my credit card wasnt charged? What is this? On the order confirmation email it says by sept 21st.

I ordered within the first few minutes as well and my ship date also says 10/5.

Ya mine now says the same exact thing and my card shows a charge and a credit for the same amount pending.

Are you a new customer? I am a new customer, I am wondering if my credit card didnt accept the charge because my billing address is different than my shipping.

Hi leetoranges and community,

I know waiting for the iPhone 5 is like a 5-year old waiting for Christmas. There's a ton of anticipation and excitement around the phone. When the order process the payment, it will ship within 24 hours and a new email communication will be sent with tracking number. The site vzw.com/orderstatus takes that 24 period to update the deliver by date as well. Can you confirm if you've been charged and are still waiting?
