Some calls are going straight to voicemail. Not all, but some. I do not have "Do not disturb" enabled nor do I have "Call Forwarding" enabled. How do I fix this?

I had the same problem.  It started a month ago.  getting phone calls going to voicemail.  Then if you call again the phone would ring.  Called verizon twice. And apple.  They couldn't fix.  My son found this forim and told to change setting.  Now it works.  What's the matter with Verizon and apple.  They should have known The answer.  Thanks everyonr
