My daughters phone is an iphone 5c operating system iOS 7.1.1. She uses the regular imessage texting app and has had no issues since she got her phone 3 months ago. She is able to text my husband and I but suddenly she cannot text her friends. It does not go through or show delivered. She is also not getting texts either from those contacts.

I want to make sure that your daughter is able to text anyone. I know that I depend on my text for everything. Is it just iMessages that are not working? Is she able to text people that don't have an iPhone? Once thing that I would suggest on her trying to do is Resetting the network settings.
